Visit this café if you are looking to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of your city life for a while. Located at the basement of the building, Coming Back to Life lets you enter a world of your own, where you connect with your inner self; immerse yourself with deeper discussions with your near and dear ones; and enjoy healthy, purified food.

Meenakshi, co-founder, Coming Back to Life café tells Blackboard: “We have put in a lot of symbolism in this café. Our aim is to let you connect with your inner self. This spiritual café is unlike any other cafes in town. The sitting arrangement is low seating, you enter the café without your shoes, enjoy reading books from the library corner and eat purified food. What’s more – if you have kids, we have kept a separate kids zone for your kids to play while you can concentrate or focus on your conversations.”

The ambience is calmer and quieter once you enter the café at the basement. There is a place to eat at the ground floor as well, just in case you don’t want to eat at the basement. “We are all mini cosmos within ourselves. And cosmos is nothing but the 5 elements. Earth, Water, Air, Fire and the Spirit. All these elements connect us to this universe. All our problems begin when we disconnect from these elements. The world is so full of negativity. The elements help us sync with our natural instinct of happiness and peace. When all these are in sync, it makes a place consecrated. And being in and spending time in a consecrated area brings the best of our potential as human beings,” observes the co-founder of the café.

We tried some of their continental and Chinese food and here are some of the photos from our experience at this cafe.
