1. Breathe through the skin
Your skin needs to breathe at night. The damage to the skin mostly happen due to clogged pores that result in toxicity. It is important for us to do natural exfoliation of the skin once or twice a week to remove the dead skin cells and to help keep the pores opened. Recommended natural combinations are walnut or almond powder mixed with yoghurt or crushed pomegranate mixed with honey. The anti-oxidant properties of these mixtures help your skin to retain its natural glow and radiance.
2. You are what you Eat and Drink
Keep a watch on how you make up your meals. Eat fresh fruits, green veggies, sufficient proteins, healthy minerals and vitamins. A diet rich in vitamin C, Sulphur and low in oxidized fats and sugar promotes radiant skin. Consider a low-GI diet, which can keep insulin levels down, allowing cells to maintain a healthy balance. Avoid spicy and fermented foods, excess salt, fried food etc. There are variety of natural spices and anti-oxidant rich fruits and vegetables, which will help you maintain a naturally healthy skin. Hydration is also important to maintain the texture of your skin.
